Opening night
approaches and the cast of a ridiculous bedroom farce is still
struggling to pull their act together. In this wildly inventive and
hilarious comedy, audiences get a peek behind the scenes (literally)
and see that sometimes the hilarity backstage can rival what's
happening on-stage.

Welcome to the Roaring Twenties, the uninhibited age of the
Charleston, flappers and speakeasies. Young Millie Dillmount of Kansas
arrives in New York determined to take the town by storm - and does.
Based on the Academy Award winning movie starring Julie Andrews, and
winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical, Thoroughly Modern
Millie is great fun for the whole family.

Neil Simon,
America's master of comedy, offers up an unorthodox dinner party in a
private dining room in Paris where six guests arrive unaware of who
the other guests are or the purpose of their gathering. As each guest
sorts through this unusual gathering, it becomes apparent that this
event will forever change their lives. A bittersweet comedy about
marriage, fidelity and missed opportunities from the writer of The
Odd Couple and Biloxi Blues. Show Sponsor: Lakewood

The lead actor has
left the company in order to become a professional wrestler and the
leading lady has slipped into insanity. Nevertheless the show must go
on! A dotty old curate attempts to lead his shorthanded company
through a production of one of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies,
As You Like It, even though they have about five times as many
roles as actors. The results are as hilarious as they are
disastrous.

In this musical
adaptation of the popular film, times are tough in Buffalo for a group
of unemployed steelworkers. To add insult to injury, a group of
professional male stripteasers are stealing their thunder. In a
desperate move, these ordinary guys decide to band together and stage
a show of their own. Working to overcome their anxieties and fears,
this unlikely troupe discovers confidence, courage and
camaraderie.

Ever seen a play where the wrong two characters fell in love? Ever wished that you could change the ending? Now you can with this murder mystery musical based on Charles Dickens' unfinished novel. After a Christmas dinner party, Edwin Drood walks off into the night and disappears. Although murder is suspected, no body can be found. There are many suspects, but it will be up to the audience to decide whodunit! Winner of the Drama Desk Award and six Tony Awards including Best Musical. Show Sponsor: The Bank of Oswego |
