Using This Site

If you are having problems using this website, these Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
may be of help to you.

Question: When I visit the site, it seems like I never see any new information. Why is that?

Answer: All web browsers have something called a memory cache.  The web browser stores each page's information in its cache for all the pages you visit. This is done to increase the speed with which the web browser can display information because the browser does not have to download all the page content and graphics each time you visit the page.  Unfortunately, when the information on a page changes, the browser may not always know there is new information and it displays the old out-of-date information.

There are several ways to overcome this problem. You can always tell your web browser to recheck the page by clicking on the reload/refresh page icon.

If you have a high speed connection, you can also go into your web browser's settings area and change these settings.  (If you have a slower dial-up connection, it is best to leave the cache settings in place.) This area may be called 'internet options' , 'options' , 'history' depending upon your choice of web browser.  Once you find the correct area change your settings to require the browser to load pages every time, or to store less history, etc.

Question: It seems like some menus and pages don't work or display properly. Is something wrong with the site?

Answer: Probably not.  All the pages on our website require that a visitor's web browser allow the use of Javascript and script processing in order to function correctly.  If the security level of your web browser is set very high then it may not be allowing the scripts on our site to process.  You can find these settings in the browser's options or preferences area and temporarily or permanently change them.  The site will probably work just fine for you afterwards.

Question: When I try to go to your ticket sales (or new subscription) page, it never loads.  What is wrong?

Answer: Our current ticket sales and subscription pages use extensive Javascript and Visual Basic code in order to process your order request.  Certain browsers can have difficulty loading these complex pages the first time.  Sometimes they actually 'hang' on the page and 'stall out' and just sit there doing nothing.

If it takes more than 20-30 seconds to load one of these pages or you get a 'page not found' error, try this.  Click on your web browser's back button/icon and then click on the link again.  You can also click on the browser's 'stop' button and retry the link as well. In most cases the page will load in a just a few seconds.
