Session 1 -  Sleepless Beauty                      $195
July 14 - 25, 2008        9:00 AM - 2 PM

"Sleepless" is the modern day telling of the original Sleeping Beauty story -- with a Sleepy Hollow twist.  The main character (Stefanie) is a reporter for a large newspaper.  We find that she was brought to America and raised by three dowager ladies (Golda, Gilda & Gail).  Ultimately, Stefanie is so tired she goes into a trance, even though she is wide awake.  Through magic, that only musical comedy will allow, an evil Enchantress and her cohorts are punished and the rest live happily ever after.

Session 2  - The Adventures of Star Power - Protector of the Galaxy   $195
August 4 - 15, 2008     9:00 AM - 2 PM

The show is a spoof on the Science Fiction TV series of the past.  A maximum of 50 students star in various roles including the crew of the USS Protectorate, Space Pirates and mystical Aliens (The "Ting").  The Musical Play is the story of Chase Hemingway, inspiring writer, who sends scripts to all the major networks in hope of landing a contract to write the show.

The people at the American Broadcast System, the 7th and lowest rated network, send out  representatives to meet with Chase, and hopefully sign him, to develop a new show for the fledgling network.  Through the mind of Chase, we see the story unfold as the Captain and crew of the "USS Protectorate" discover strange new creatures invading our Galaxy.
