About the Play: The Most Happy Fella, is a musical
adaptation by Frank Loesser of Sidney Howard's Pulitzer Prize
winning play They Knew What They Wanted. The story revolves around the
complications that arise when Tony (Kirby Griffin), an aging
Italian vineyard owner, proposes by mail to Rosabella (Anne-Marie
Endres), a young waitress who once served him in a San Francisco
restaurant. Rosabella has no recollection of Tony, but accepts his
proposal, largely because he has sent her a picture of Joe (Chet
Lundy), his handsome ranch hand. When Rosabella arrives at the
ranch, she falls in love with Joe, but marries Tony. Over time,
Rosabella learns to appreciate the gentle and kind Tony, and she falls
in love with him. A simple love story - with a few strange twists -
that shows love can win out in the end no matter what the
obstacles.

the Girls Go By), Big D, Warm All Over, My Heart Is So Full Of You
