Holmes & Watson is the latest musical comedy by workshop director, Steve Christensen. The play is set in a Multi-level classroom in a small town in Oregon during the 1950s. The class has been studying literature and in particular the stories of Sherlock Holmes. In this class are two rival girls one named Shirley Holmes and the other Dorothy (Dot) Watson. Their conflict has become unbearable to everyone as the two sides have disrupted the entire school. The teacher and principal come up with the idea of making the girls solve a mystery that has plagued the town for over 150 years. Each group uses techniques employed by the original Holmes and Watson team and find they can work together to solve the mystery and literally save the town.
