KIDS CREATE - IMAGINE THIS!

Come play and create a show! Kids Create is a great class for kids to come and make a show using their own imaginations. They will leap onto the stage to play, design, write, and perform for parents on the final day.
CHILDREN’S BEGINNING ACTING
Ages 7-10 8 weeksInstructor: Tamara Carroll $120
Saturdays, Sept. 25 – Nov. 20 10 – 11:30 AM
A fun and exciting way to develop the skills essential for the young performer, while enhancing social skills, self-expression and confidence. Work with a professional actor and director as you explore the basics in improvisation, warm-ups, movement and theatre games, in a relaxed and supportive environment. Please note: class will not meet on Oct. 9. Please note, this class has revised its start date to begin Sept. 25th.
BEGINNING TO INTERMEDIATE ACTING
Ages 11-18 8 weeksInstructor: Tamara Carroll $120

This class will emphasize scene work using improvisation technique, character analysis, monologues, script breakdown, and audition techniques. Please note: class will not meet on Oct. 9. Please note, this class has revised its start date to begin Sept. 25th
ACTING FOR NON ACTORS: THE SEQUEL

The fun continues with the work moving up a notch. So many students have requested a follow-up class to go one step further, but still keep the enjoyable, no-pressure, creative experience. Here it is! Using scenes, monologues and improvisation, step into the work and world of the actor. Pre-requisite: Acting for Non Actors or a Beginning Acting class.
HOW TO TELL YOUR STORY

We are the stories of our lives, but how we tell that story requires our own unique recipe. Start with story circle, add improv, a pinch of standup, a smidge of story theatre and a bit of drama and you have a true and rewarding concoction. Whether it’s storytelling, presentation, theatre, comedy or public speaking, learn to tell your story using the art of the actor in a non-threatening, creative environment.
AMERICAN SINGER SEMINAR MASTERCLASS
Ages: HS Juniors & Seniors 2 weeksInstructor: Douglas Webster $ 375
Auditions: Sept. 27 - 5-8pm by appointment
This masterclass and seminar is led by former professor of voice, director of opera and Broadway artist Douglas Webster, specifically for High School Juniors and Seniors who intend to audition for University or Conservatory Music programs. It focuses on the presentation of material, technical issues and interpretation. As an equal part of the practical work will be discussions audition preparation, research and program selection. TV/Film Acting
(Ages 8-12) 8 weeks
Get a taste of stardom and have fun while developing your acting technique through on-camera
experience. Practice improvisation, presentation, and audition skills using commercial, film,
and TV scripts (both comedy and drama).
Parents are invited to observe the last class in action!
