Recent Lakewood roles: Professor Metz, The Man Who Came to Dinner (Nov. 2009)

Brian Allard (Professor Metz, "Man Who Came to Dinner") is elated to make his Lakewood debut. Brian came to Portland via Minneapolis, London and New York, but is now very happy to call Oregon home. During his time in New York, Brian appeared off-Broadway as Caliban in The Tempest and Romney Leigh in Aurora Leigh. Since coming to Portland, he has played in the U.S. premiere of Tales of Ordinary Madness in the lead role of Peter, clucked around as Allen in bobrauschenbergamerica at Portland Playhouse, and proudly appeared as Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice with Quintessence Theatre. Brian is the Artistic Director of the Original Practice Shakespeare Festival, a member of the Brody Theater improv troupe, and teaches the high school theater program at the Northwest Academy.
