Workshops

One-Day Workshop: Shakespeare's Twelfth Night

Saturday, March 18 1 day only
10 AM - 4 PM Ages 18 - adult
Instructor: Nancy McDonald $50

The more the merrier is definitely the theme for our 6th all-day Shakespeare Workshop. What better place to visit than Illyria, a world of romance, frolic, fighting and pranks, with Sir Toby Belch, Feste the Fool, pompous Malvolio, and a quartet of revolving lovers. This is one of Shakespeare’s best-loved romantic comedies. We will be reading, eating, listening to and exploring the text, the themes, what makes this work meaningful to us today and how we can relate to those all too human Elizabethans. No previous experience required. Taught by the founder of New York City’s Shakespeare Stage Company, Nancy McDonald. Come dressed for comfort. BYO lunch at the break.
