The Brits are at it again! Find yourself in Merton-cum-Middlewick with Penelope, Lionel and (of course) Ida the maid as they manage to turn the local vicarage upside down and drop you to the floor with laughter as Lakewood Theatre kicks off summer with the rollicking comedy See How They Run.
See How They Run, directed by Scott Parker, opens Friday, July 13 and continues until August 19 with the following performance schedule: Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 7:00 PM on July 15, 22 and 29 and Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM on July 22, August 5, 12 and 19.
The Story: In an idyllic English village near the end of World War II, a local spinster suspects her vicar's wife, a vivacious actress, of having an affair and determines to expose the situation. Add an escaped prisoner, a handsome actor, a visiting bishop, a rotund priest and some meddling neighbors, and anything can happen in the delightful romp of mistaken identities. Scott Parker directs a cast including Steven Beckingham, Natalie Stringer, Nicole Accuardi, Hans Eleveld, Scott Engdahl, Brandon B. Weaver, Brett Wilson, Lisa Knox and Gary Brickner-Schulz.
