In an effort to make the A Week of Color art workshop video series more accessible to youth in our region, art kits are being assembled and include samples of all the materials featured in the original videos. Kits also include a 24-page printed booklet with English and Spanish written instructions for each workshop.

Clackamas Education Service District will print 242 booklets as a donation towards this wonderful workshop series. These 242 accompanying art kits will be distributed to youth in Oregon City and Gladstone who may not otherwise have access to these supplies and instruction. To fund these art kits, Lakewood Center is asking for $20 sponsor donations for each kit, with a goal of raising $5,000 to fund this project and to support Lakewood Center.  CLICK HERE to donate any amount you wish to designate to this project. Select the Art Kits Project and then note the amount you wish to contribute. Your gift is tax-deductible to the f ullest extent allowed by law.

Additionally, Lakewood has 50 art kits that are available to the public. You can purchase a kit complete with an instruction book for $20, while supplies last. CLICK HERE to go to our ticket order page and select Week of Color.  At this ordering site, you can also order additional kits that Lakewood can give to underserved students. (These additional kit purchases are tax-deductible).

Donations will be accepted through December, ending on New Year’s Eve.
