Recent Lakewood Role - Costume Designer for Oliver! (Sept. 2009); A Flea In Her Ear (March 2009)
Margaret Chapman (Costume Designer) holds a B.S. and a M.S. in Theatre Arts from PSU. She was resident consumer/designer for Portland Civic Theatre for 17 years. She now does freelance costume work with several theatre companies and schools in the Portland area. Her positions include resident costumer/instructor for PCC Sylvania campus and resident costumer for Oregon Children's Theatre Company. Her most recent awards include a 2004 Drammy for her design of "The Women" for Triangle Productions and a 2006 OTAS for her design of "Ragtime the Musical" for Lakewood. She is a past president of the Portland Civic Theatre Guild and current Endowment Chair. When not costuming, Margaret is an advisor of her son Stephen's Crew 542.
